What is/who are Fairfield Books?
Fairfield Books was set up in 1997 by Stephen Chalke to publish his work and that of fellow cricket writers. Stephen’s own books have won six national awards and in 2019 the Cricket Writers’ Club presented him with the prestigious Peter Smith award for services to cricket.
Fairfield was taken over in 2020 by the publishers of Wisden Cricket Monthly and The Nightwatchman, with the aim of continuing the tradition of publishing excellent and interesting titles. The new Fairfield Books has published more than 20 original titles over the past five years, winning multiple awards and nominations including a trio of Wisden Book of the Year awards.

How do I pay for my order?
Payment is taken online via our payment merchant. If you would like to pay in a different way, please contact us.
Are signed copies available?
Signed copies of some of our titles are listed in the shop. If you would like a signed copy of a title and it is not listed, please contact us and we will confirm if it is possible.

When will I get my order?

EBOOKS
What files are supplied if I purchase an ebook?
We will supply .PDF and .EPUB files. If the format of the book isn’t suitable for rendering as an .EPUB, we will supply it as a .PDF only.
How do I access my ebook files?
All ebook files you have purchased can be viewed and downloaded from your user account or, if you have checked out as a guest, you will receive an email with a download link.

Postage and packaging charges
P&P charges vary according to the size and weight of the order and the delivery destination. These charges are calculated at the checkout.

Address and payment card details can be updated and stored in your user account. If you want to store your details for future use, you can create a user account when placing an order.
